Chambers Coffee @ Haymarket offers a straightforward but satisfying coffee stop right along bustling Quay Street. This compact café caters mostly to locals and workers looking for a solid caffeine boost paired with fresh breakfast and lunch options.

The atmosphere here leans into a casual, laidback vibe, enhanced by a couple of sunlit outdoor tables that catch the morning and midday light — perfect for those who like to sit outside and soak up some Haymarket street life while enjoying their food. It’s the kind of spot where you might drop in for a quick espresso before work or settle in for a relaxed breakfast on a weekend.

Coffee is clearly the highlight. From staple choices like cappuccinos and flat whites to more indulgent options like the zebra mocha or dirty chai latte, the baristas take care to get the balance right — especially noticeable in milk-based drinks like the oat flat white, which some visitors have found particularly well-crafted. The menu also features iced drinks and a few freshly squeezed juices, catering to warm days or those who prefer cooler refreshment.

On the food side, the menu has a modest but appealing spread focusing on breakfast and brunch staples, including a standout New York breakfast burger, halloumi stacks, and simple egg on toast dishes. The quality here seems consistent, with some diners enjoying vegetarian options and others opting for heartier fare like bacon and egg wraps. The vibe is not formal or overly styled; the food matches the no-fuss coffee culture that Chambers explores.

Chambers Coffee functions well as a quick pick-me-up for people working nearby or a low-key weekend breakfast spot. It’s particularly welcoming in the mornings, when the street is quiet enough to relax but still carries the hum of local deliveries and early shoppers. The attentive service adds to the ease of a short stay or a slower unwind. If you pass by on a sunny day, grabbing a seat outside with one of their specialty lattes and a halloumi stack or breakfast burger makes for a nice pause in the daily flow of Haymarket.

Wow, this was pretty spectacular. Glad I skipped breakfast for this. Angus beef burger I highly recommend. And to sit in their lovely sun drenched outdoor area while eating it added to the overall experience.

Chamber Fine Coffee is a hidden gem nestled along Quay Street in Haymarket. Though it’s a tiny roadside café, it delivers an experience that rivals much larger establishments. With a couple of outdoor tables and a laid-back atmosphere, it’s the perfect stop for a quick caffeine fix or a quiet moment to relax. The coffee here is consistently excellent. Whether you're ordering a flat white, long black, or something iced on a hot day, every cup is crafted with care. The oat latte, in particular, was a standout—smooth, full-bodied, and perfectly balanced. It’s clear the baristas here take pride in their work. The food selection is simple but satisfying. Fresh pastries and light bites make it ideal for a quick breakfast or snack. Everything is served promptly and with a smile, which adds to the welcoming vibe of the place. What really sets Chamber Fine Coffee apart is its charm. Located just off the busy streets of Haymarket, it feels like a little pocket of calm. The outside seating lets you soak in the street view, making it a great spot to pause during a busy day in the city. The staff are friendly, efficient, and always make you feel welcome—whether you’re a regular or just passing through. If you’re around Quay Street and craving quality coffee with character, Chamber Fine Coffee is definitely worth a visit. Small in size, big on flavor and heart.

Probably the best coffee I've had in Sydney! Living in the UK, coffee tastes so much better everywhere in Sydney/Australia. However, I felt that the balance of oat milk and coffee in the oat flat white I've had there was just perfect and resulted in a delicious cup of coffee. Highly recommended!

I had the big breakfast vegetarian which was very good. The location is really good if you can sit outside and enjoy the view with your food. Overall had a very decent or good experience.

Simple and humble place to get a great coffee. We ordered mocha and truffle cheese fries and they both were nice. The service was also attentive and fast. A good place to have a morning coffee and breakfast, especially on the weekend, before start the activities.

Weekday's craze is hard to tackle but I'm glad I have chambers to counter attack the sleep demon especially on a manic monday! Always be getting my grande size cup of ccino's and the ice teas and ades' options are always the best to end an 8-hour shift with. Not only a variety of beverage, but food and pastries are all the more abundant. All the workers are always very cheerful and so dedicated, so its wonderful to see them enjoying working very much. If you had not much time, the service is absurdly fast so you can always be on the go. Also whether you would like to bask in the sun on a warm day- they have a lovely and clean outdoor space for seating where you have a view of the busy streets and city-goers. With such a stunning crew, the manager also deserves all the praise. She is a great leader who makes a great coffee. The reputable "Chambers" is a MUST visit!
